About Spaniels Lodge
Our Story
We have been providing care to friends and families dogs for 5 years.
An opportunity has come along and we are now able to provide home from home dog boarding provision for others.
Our passion for animals has driven us to create a safe and comfortable environment for all dogs in our care.
Our Services
We provide Home Dog Boarding in our house, no pet sitting or day care.
This allows us to give all of our efforts to making your dogs stay as enjoyable as it can be.
Daily dog walking is included. We are situated just on the border of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, giving us access to mile upon mile of beautiful woodland, fields, streams and ponds. A perfect place for your dogs to explore and play.
We provide a free meet and greet. An opportunity to meet us, the people behind the messages in person and to see where your dog will be staying whilst you're away. Your dog will also meet our cocker spaniel Bella and we can observe how they interact together and answer any questions you may have.
Following this a trial night stay will be arranged to ensure suitability and safety of the dogs.
Meet and Greet
The free meet and greet will take place at a local park close to our home, giving the dogs a neutral place to meet.
If the dogs get on, we can walk back to our house and continue the socialisation further over a cup of tea and you can view our facilities.
If this is successful, we will then arrange an overnight sleep over, when we can further observe the dogs together and assess whether we can provide longer term boarding.
A Typical day includes
We aim to provide a minimum of two daily walks with our spaniel but this can be adapted to meet the needs of your dog. We often go out several times everyday, rain or shine. Our motto is "There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing".
Our favourite places include:
- Lincolnshire Wolds - plenty of opportunities to use their noses to explore.
- Cleethorpes beach - fresh air and water, plenty of open space to stretch their legs. Followed by a swim to cool off.
- Private woodland with a pond - we use this when our dog is in season. It is also a great place to allow secure off lead exploration for shy dogs.
- We also offer enrichment activities and enjoy playing scenting games with treats or toys to provide mental stimulation for the dogs.

I will assist with walking, daily jobs such as feeding and playing and I'll look after the technology side of things.
One of my favourite games is hiding treats around the house and garden and letting Bella sniff them out.
